Power of attorney for lawsuits: power that is granted to a professional expert in law to be able to defend his client with guarantees before the judiciary, emphasizing when the party that files the claim is the public administration or others.

Special power: power that granted by a person (principal) to another person (natural or legal) called the attorney-in-fact. The attorney-in-fact is conferred a series of powers to act on the principal's assets. It is related to the mandate contract. There is regulation of the mandate in the Spanish civil code (arts, 1709 to 1739) and in the Catalan civil code (arts, 622-21 to 622-42). Banking power: authorizes a proxy to be able to process certain banking procedures with a bank on behalf of another person who is the principal. It is very useful to entrust or give an authorized signature to a natural or legal person on one or more accounts of the principal.

Revocations and substitutions of power: You can always revoke the power of attorney by the person who granted it by doing so in a subsequent public deed before a notary public and have it recorded in the Notarial File of Repealed Powers, or carry out from a subsequent public deed the replacement of the person empowered by a different one. 

General power: The one who grants the power of attorney authorizes a person to represent him on his behalf in an extensive number of acts and actions or private affairs, such as the attorney-in-fact managing the accounts, buying or selling properties. It does not usually contain expiration.
